Knowing love as I really think I really
Do, I sometimes laugh like a baby seeing
Faces turn to and turning home to faces
Lovely and yearning.

Love is always returning home to its
Sources, finding pathways and backward winding
Seams of water, divining rods and streams
Uprising purely.

Turn me to you, then, surely, without loss of
Face, for heaven is only what we long for
Accidentally, face to face, childlike sometimes,
True as a swan-song.
